I'm a down-to-earth Canadian girl with a passion for learning and helping other solopreneurs grow their business while having time to enjoy the important things in life: like playing with the kiddos, hiking, and coffee (can’t forget the coffee).
I’m a 9 on the Enneagram, which means I love going down the self-discovery rabbit hole (ask me about my book collection). It also explains why I love to help others reach their full potential.
My journey to becoming a brand copywriter is as colourful as the places I've explored - from the jaw-dropping landscapes of Alaska to the charming streets of Italy. Like many of you, I've worn many hats: Alaskan tour guide, veterinary assistant, photographer, sales rep, and even a phlebotomist. Each role taught me something valuable, but more importantly, they were stepping stones on my path to finding my true calling.
I've tasted both the thrill of starting a business and the sting of watching it fail. My photography business was a labour of love, but it taught me a hard lesson: passion alone isn't enough. I struggled with marketing, branding, and finding clients. Sound familiar? This experience became the catalyst for my fascination with copywriting and brand messaging.
Through my travels and experiences, I've learned that at our core, we're all seeking a fulfilling life and the courage to be our authentic selves. This realization is at the heart of my approach to copywriting. I believe that the key to a successful brand isn't about being 'good enough' - it's about being brave enough to show up as your true self.
